Ever Heard of the Peephole Reverser?

The above is a picture of a peephole reverser. It allows someone on the outside of your door to look into your room through the peephole.

The peephole reverser was developed several years ago to help LEOs view activity in rooms and assess potential threats.

Naturally, others found out about the invention and began using it for nefarious reasons (pervs and predators to name a few).

They are fairly inexpensive and extremely easy to purchase. I even found an online article that shows how to make one.

If there is a peephole installed on any of the doors where you live, keep it covered until you need to use it.

You can find peephole covers online (both portable and permanent) if you’re interested in something that looks nice. Especially for apartments and homes. But duct tape works, too.

And, as always, keep those doors locked.
