Use a Damn Holster!

Can you believe that some people carry their firearms in their pocket, waistband or purse with no holster? Are they just too cheap? Too lazy? Don’t care? Do they really think it’s safe?

I’ve seen far too many news articles about guns being grabbed out of pockets and waistbands of gun-owners!

One of the victims was a cop:

And another was killed with his own gun after chasing the thief out of the store: Teen Snatches Man’s Gun from Waistband; Kills Him in Struggle

Here’s another one. Look how fast it happens…

In another instance, A man eating at a restaurant dropped his pistol. When he tried to catch the gun from falling, it discharged. The bullet hit the wall, broke into pieces, and several pieces embedded in another man’s leg.

Recently, a teen was accidently killed by her own mom’s gun. The mom had her unholstered gun in her purse. When she reached in to get her keys, the gun went off.

For the love of all that is good… use a damn holster. No matter where you choose to carry your firearm.

And consider taking some gun retention training classes.
